While much of the news surrounding Paige Bueckers is due to her team, the Dallas Wings, drafting her rumored girlfriend, Azzi Fudd, the talented guard also took time to praise a fellow WNBA player, Angel Reese.
There’s no doubt that Bueckers and Reese are friends off the court. They’ve been photographed several times just hanging out and having fun. With Reese now playing for the Atlanta Dream, the Wings star was asked by reporters about the impact her friend has done for the game. To no one’s surprise, Bueckers dropped a positive answer about Angel Reese’s contribution to the women’s game.
“On both ends of the floor, just a paint presence… defensively she [Angel Reese] can switch & guard 1-5. Offensively great screener, roller, passer… she can finish around the rim. Her energy is contagious. She brings confidence to her teammates,” Bueckers proudly said.

Not sure about being a great finisher around the rim, but regardless, Reese definitely impacts the small things that usually do not pop up in the scoreboard for the Atlanta Dream. She’s a great offensive and defensive rebounder. The problem is her shooting, especially from ten feet onwards.
Time flies fast, doesn’t it? It seems like yesterday when Reese was still playing at LSU, dominating her foes in the women’s NCAA. After the Chicago Sky surprisingly traded the talented forward to the Atlanta Dream in the offseason, some questioned whether it was the right move. Nonetheless, the Dream will inarguably get the best of Angel Reese now and in the near future as she turns 24.
“24. The year of simplicity,” she wrote. “Less is more.”
The 6-foot-4 forward celebrated her birthday on May 6. What caught people’s attention was her online post. Nothing fancy, just a couple of shots in a chic dress.
