Before No.1 overall 2025 WNBA draft pick Paige Bueckers makes her WNBA debut on Friday against the Minnesota Lynx, Gatorade released a new photo advertisement featuring Bueckers dressed in her new Wings uniform. Her hair was pulled into a slicked-back bun, and she accessorized her look with a colorful necklace and her nails were painted navy blue.
"New stage, bigger buckets," the poster wrote in big black letters.
The new advertisement was reposted by sports reporter Grant Asfeth on X, three hours before tipoff.

The UConn alum made history in November 2021 by becoming Gatorade's first-ever NCAA athlete partner under the NIL era. The multiyear deal elevated her from a former Gatorade National Player of the Year to a key figure in the brand's efforts to promote women's sports.
As part of the collaboration, Bueckers helped design a custom Gatorade Gx bottle featuring the phrase "Be you, be great," which was released nationally in 2022. She has since appeared in major campaigns like “The Take,” alongside athletes such as JuJu Watkins, reinforcing Gatorade’s commitment to empowering the next generation of athletes.
The standout women's basketball player who made history during her collegiate career at UConn. She was the first freshman to win the AP Player of the Year award in 2021 and concluded her college career by leading UConn to a national championship in 2025.
The Dallas Wings' first game of the WNBA season against the Minnesota Lynx takes place on Friday at 4:30 p.m. PT at College Park Center. She will be making her WNBA debut in front of a sold-out crowd.
