Paige Bueckers reacts to Dallas Wings Teammate's Parting Message

Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings failed to advance to the next round of the WNBA playoffs. They lost to the Golden State Valkyries in the first round, 2-1. Still, returning to the postseason after a two-year absence marked a successful season for the Wings.

Bueckers had another strong second season, averaging 20.9 points, 4.1 rebounds and 5.9 assists. She has emerged as the cornerstone Dallas will build around.

However, the Wings front office will face some tough decisions this offseason as they aim to improve their roster for 2027. This includes Li Yueru’s future with the team.

The 6-foot-7 center joined Dallas in 2025 via trade. She then accepted a one-year reserved qualifying offer worth $277,500 to return to Dallas for the 2026 season. This past season, she played in 33 games and averaged 3.3 points and 2.8 rebounds.

Yueru shared a parting message for this season on her Instagram page on Tuesday.

“So grateful for this season, for the incredible teammates I got to share it with, and for every bit of love and support from our amazing fans.

“Thank you for being there, for believing in us, and for making this journey so special.

“See you soon at Unrivaled. ✨,” she wrote in the caption.
