The Minnesota Lynx took down the Dallas Wings 85-77 during Sunday's game in Arlington, Texas. Sure enough, with two of the top guards in the WNBA playing, it was quite an eventful showdown.
Paige Bueckers led the Wings in scoring in the loss, finishing with 25 points on 10-of-17 shooting. She also tallied three rebounds and four assists.
Meanwhile, rookie guard Olivia Miles was sensational once again. She recorded 21 points on 6-of-13 shooting, while adding three rebounds and eight assists.
Aside from their play on the court, though, the intense interaction between Bueckers and Miles during the contest drew plenty of attention.
Miles was constantly talking trash to Jessica Shepard during the game. However, during the second quarter, it turned physical when Miles collided with Shepard while the Wings forward was attempting to pass the ball.
Bueckers appeared to take issue with Miles' actions and proceeded to have an intense exchange of words with the rookie guard. At one point, the Wings star seemingly told the Lynx scorer, "What you gonna do?"
The interaction has since gone viral, with a video posted by Underdog WNBA gaining nearly 1 million views at the time of writing. An ESPN video of the moment has also been viewed over 500,000 times.

For what it's worth, Miles clarified after the game that she's not trying to start anything with her trash-talking. The 23-year-old added, nonetheless, pointed out that she's simply not allowing herself to "get punked" because she's a rookie.
The Wings and Lynx have one more matchup scheduled in August this season. That being said, it will certainly be interesting to see how Bueckers and Miles perform and interact when they face each other again.
