Paige Bueckers’ Unstoppable Move Had WNBA Buzzing on Tuesday

Paige Bueckers' first WNBA season is off to a historic start statistically, but the Dallas Wings rookie passes the eye test, too.

In the Wings' last game against the Washington Mystics, she passed Caitlin Clark to become the fastest rookie in WNBA history to record at least 200 points and 50 assists.

Her numbers through nine games were eerily similar to the Fever star's rookie campaign, but she's achieved them in more efficient fashion.

Bueckers leads all rookies in scoring with 18.2 points per game, bolstered by a career-high 35 points against the Phoenix Mercury on June 11.

It is no surprise when you see the kind of move she put on Atlanta Dream guard Maya Caldwell on Tuesday.

The Wings' official account called the behind-the-back into spin move jumper "crispy."

The WNBA fans who could pick their jaws up off the floor after seeing the highlight reel play had plenty of other descriptions on social media.

"Nastyyyyy," said one X user.

"so cleaan," wrote another.

"This is not normal," said a fan. "Y’all can try to deny her greatness all you want but the tape speaks for itself."

"chefs kiss," replied one user.

The view from inside College Park Center in Arlington was just as impressive.

"Might honestly have one of the best bags in the wnba already," stated a fan.

Bueckers had eight points, five assists and two rebounds at halftime to put the Wings up 31-29 as they looked for their fourth win of the season.

It was also a breakout game for new Dallas acquisition Li Yueru, who notched a double-double by the third quarter.
