PHOENIX — Phoenix Mercury’s Alyssa Thomas has been selected as a WNBA All-Star reserve, as announced by the league on Sunday morning.

This is Thomas’ sixth season as an All-Star and her fourth straight season. Thomas has averaged 14.3 points, 9.4 assists, 7.3 rebounds and 1.5 steals through 13 games this season.

The Mercury forward tied the franchise record in assists twice with 15 in a game and her 122 assists are the most by any player in the league through their first 12 games of a season.

Thomas joins Satou Sabally, who was voted as an All-Star starter, to represent Phoenix in the All-Star game in Indianapolis. This is the 15th time in franchise history that the Mercury will have multiple representatives.

Mercury fans can catch Thomas and Sabally in the All-Star Game on Saturday, July 19 at 6:30 MST.
