The Indiana Fever found the "redemption" Caitlin Clark promised after last Tuesday. Despite last night being one of her unsatisfactory performances, her team bagged an 81-76 win.

Robert Griffin III, who was at the center of the drama surrounding Angel Reese and Clark after his comment, took to X in support of the 6-foot guard.

"The Indiana Fever’s best player is their biggest star Caitlin Clark." He posted. "She had 11 points today and they still won the game."

"This Indiana Fever team is MUCH BETTER than last year’s team. Natasha Howard was a great addition and known to give you 20 on any given night."

Griffin was trending on social media after sharing his opinion that Reese harbors hatred toward Clark.

"Angel Reese HATES Caitlin Clark. Not some basketball rivalry hate either. Hate." He said, drawing some unneeded attention, which later on transpired into something entirely different after Ryan Clark, a former NFL safety, spoke about it on the show "The Pivot".

Clark posted 11 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists against Dream on Thursday. Her teammate Natasha Howard, however, stole the show with 26 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists.

Sophie Cunningham shone throughout the game in her regular-season debut for Indiana. Another player who stood out in the fourth quarter was Kelsey Mitchell.

She missed five of her three-point attempts during the game but made one when it mattered the most. Her score brought the Fever into the lead, giving that much-needed momentum to win it.

"I think it was about defending. It's a phenomenal basketball team, inside out, guards, post, they make it hard through and through." She said post-game. "I think for us it was about making sure that we stay focused when they make those runs."
