After missing five games with a quad injury, Caitlin Clark made her return and has helped the Indiana Fever win two straight.

On Tuesday, Clark and the Fever defeated Jacy Sheldon and the Connecticut Sun 88-71, securing their sixth win of the season.

Midway through the third quarter, tensions flared after Sheldon accidentally hit Clark in the face. Clark responded by shoving Sheldon, prompting Marina Mabrey to step in and defend her teammate, shoving Clark to the floor.

Sheldon was assessed a flagrant foul for the incident, while Clark, Mabrey and Tina Charles each received a technical.

Late in the game, with under a minute remaining and the win secured for Indiana, Fever coach Stephanie White subbed out all of her starters, giving Sophie Cunningham a chance to see the floor.

During garbage time, Sheldon had a 1-on-1 fastbreak against Cunningham before the Indiana guard pulled Sheldon down to the ground, not allowing her to score.

Sheldon and Cunningham got into a shoving match before players from both teams rushed over to defend their respective teammates.

After both teams were separated, the referees took some time before ejecting Sheldon, Cunningham and Lindsay Allen.

Cunningham finished the night with five points on 2-of-5 shooting, seven rebounds and one assist. Clark added 20 points on 6-of-12 shooting, six assists and two steals.

With Clark earning her second technical foul of the season, she will likely be fined another $200, barring the WNBA changing the call.

Up next for the Fever, a battle with Kate Martin and the Golden State Valkyries on Thursday.
