Sophie Cunningham couldn’t do enough to help the Indiana Fever secure a home victory against the Golden State Valkyries on Wednesday night. The 6-foot-1 guard supplied 10 points off the bench on 3-of-7 shooting. Cunnnigham added two rebounds, four steals and two triples in 27 minutes off the bench.

It still wasn’t enough, though, as the Fever struggled to hang on against the Valkyries. Despite Indiana’s effort to keep the game close, Golden State eventually pulled away to score an 88-75 win at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

This snapped the Fever’s two-game winning streak as they fell to 14-10 on the season. The Valkyries, on the other hand, remain red-hot with their franchise-best eighth straight victory. Golden State is now 18-7.
