Caitlin Clark's cookie love is not hidden from anyone. Fans are aware of it and so is the Indiana Fever guard's former teammate and WNBA free agent Sophie Cunningham.
On Friday, Cunningham revealed her inner wish and made a secret request to Clark in relation to the latter's special talent other than dominating the hardwood.
During a conversation with Sports Illustrated, Cunningham spilled the beans on Caitlin Clark's baking abilities. In a clip shared on X, she said, "I'm about to get on her, because she can bake. I will give her that credit, and her cookies are amazing."
However, Cunningham is not content and wants more of her friend's baking routine. "I need it more frequently." When asked if she has any requests for Clark, she simply replied, "I am so much of a red velvet girl. I love an angel food cake. An apple pie is good. But I think that she's just, all the cookies she makes are really good."
"So, honestly, just like a solid chocolate chip cookie. Oatmeal raisin would be good. I have so many things that she needs to get done for me."
Clark's currently busy with Team USA at the ongoing FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup qualifiers in San Juan, Puerto Rico. It's likely that the Fever guard will come up with a response to Cunningham's latest request when she sees this clip.
Since last season, Cunningham and Clark's bond has become quite evident from their social media interactions.
Last month, Cunningham made a surprising revelation about Clark's actual personality. Praising her goofy and humble nature she said, “she is such a normal human,”
Cunningham stated that she had no idea about Clark when she first met her after joining the Fever last season. “You kind of go in and you don’t know what to expect because she’s a generational player. She has all this attention and carries it all so well. And I promise you, she’s the biggest dork you’ll ever meet. And so I just love her, love her whole vibe,” she said.
