Sophie Cunningham has been playing through her first season with the Indiana Fever.
Cunningham was viewed as an engine spark for the Fever when she first entered the season, bringing energy on both sides of the ball.
While she started her career with the Fever on the right foot, Cunningham was recently dealt an ankle injury that's kept her sidelined for the past several games.
While she makes her way back to the lineup, Cunningham took to social media, sharing exciting career news with fans online.
Cunningham joined the JD Legends Promotions marketing agency during her seventh season in the WNBA.

"Sophie is a professional basketball player for the Indiana Fever of the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA). She played college basketball for the Missouri Tigers. We look forward to the future!"
Before playing with the Indiana Fever, Cunningham played with the Phoenix Mercury for six seasons.
During her first season with the Indiana Fever, Sophie Cunningham has posted 6.5 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game. She's played four games with the Fever, averaging 21.8 minutes per game during her time in Indiana.
On Friday, the Indiana Fever announced that Sophie Cunningham will be back in the active lineup against the New York Liberty on Saturday at 3 p.m. ET.
The Fever entered the game with a 2-6 record, ranked as the No. 3 team in the Eastern Conference and the No. 7 team in the WNBA standings.
