The Indiana Fever's season took a dark turn in the second half of the WNBA slate.
Indiana began the season with hopes to compete for a WNBA title under head coach Stephanie White.
The Fever had one of the most talented teams in the WNBA with Caitlin Clark, Aliyah Boston, Sophie Cunningham, Kelsey Mitchell and others.
While they certainly had a deep team, players have been falling like dominos.
Along with injury issues, one certain player may have a feud with the league office. Cunningham, who started a personal podcast during the Fever season, has been fined three times since the start of her off-court business.
"Sophie Cunningham says the WNBA has fined her after EVERY episode of her "Show Me Something" podcast," posted Yahoo Sports.
Sophie Cunningham reposted the news on her personal social media account, sharing her reaction with thousands of followers online.
"EL OH EL," Cunningham said.
Sophie Cunningham has emerged as one of the WNBA's biggest stars since she joined the Indiana Fever for the 2025 season.
While many eyes are on Caitlin Clark, Cunningham has gained a ton of attention throughout the season, on and off the court.
She hosts the "Show Me Something" podcast alongside reality TV star West Wilson.
Throughout her first season with the Indiana Fever, Sophie Cunningham posted 8.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game.
Cunningham's season was recently cut short. She suffered a season-ending injury (MCL tear in her right knee) in the team's matchup against the Connecticut Sun, making her the third Indiana player to be ruled out for the rest of the WNBA season.
Before the injury to Cunningham, the Indiana Fever were also dealing with season-ending injuries to Aari McDonald and Sydney Colson.
