Sophie Cunningham Reveals Personal Wish During WNBA Break

Sophie Cunningham celebrated her 30th birthday on Aug. 16. The Indiana Fever star posted photos on Instagram on Wednesday amid the WNBA’s FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup break, along with her birthday wish.

She wore a bandeau-style bikini top with a colorful abstract print and a tied knot center detail. She paired it with matching high-cut bikini bottoms and completed her look with an orange trucker hat and a gold necklace.

In the caption, Cunningham said she wants to be Beth Dutton. The fictional character belongs to the neo-Western drama series “Yellowstone.” She demonstrates fierce intelligence and loyalty to her father and his ranch.

“my wish is to be Beth Dutton when I grow up,” Cunningham wrote.

Cunningham was born and raised in Columbia, Missouri. She returns to her family’s ranch whenever she can.

The Fever star turned 30 in August, but she had to wait several weeks to celebrate her birthday with family and friends. She took a weekend trip to the Lake of the Ozarks in Osage Beach, Missouri. The photos from her latest Instagram post were from her weekend bash.

Cunningham and the Fever hold a 26-14 record for the season and currently sit fifth in the standings. They will return to action on Sept. 18 when they visit the Toronto Tempo at Coca-Cola Coliseum. A two-game homestand follows before they wrap up their regular season with a matchup against the Minnesota Lynx on Sept. 24.

Indiana is competing in a tightly contested race for seeding with the Las Vegas Aces and Atlanta Dream. The Fever share the same record as Atlanta, but Angel Reese and Co. hold the tiebreaker. Both teams trail Las Vegas by one game.

The Golden State Valkyries are currently the second seed, but the Fever are just 3.0 games behind them.

All eight playoff berths have been clinched. However, the final seedings have not yet been finalized.
