Indiana Fever teammates Caitlin Clark and Sophie Cunningham often mock each other. As close as they are on the court, as savage they can be off the hardwood, and Cunningham proved it recently.

The WNBA’s X account shared a video of Fever players doing the “I’m passing the phone” challenge, which caused Cunningham to savagely troll Clark. After Lexie Hull passed the phone to the former Phoenix Mercury guard, Cunningham didn’t hold back.

“I am passing the phone to someone who needs a tan and has the attention span of a fish,” Cunningham said before the video showed Clark.

Clark, instead, praised the next person.

“I’m passing the phone to the fastest player in the league,” she said, referring to Kelsey Mitchell.

Cunningham had no chill, but that’s just how they manage their relationship. It started strong with Hull, and Cunningham raised the bar very high.

Sophie Cunningham Shares Honest Thoughts On Raven Johnson Amid Caitlin Clark Rumors

On Tuesday, following the first practice with rookies, Sophie Cunningham raved about Raven Johnson, the No. 10 pick in the 2026 WNBA draft.

“We got some kind of good rookies like it’s exciting,” Cunningham said on the latest episode of her “Show Me Something” podcast. “I know a big name was Raven Johnson. She was with South Carolina and Raven Johnson is a freaking dog.

“We had our first day of training camp and I just like love her. I think she’s going to be fantastic, great defensive player.”

The expectations are high for the Fever this season. Hopefully, the history between Clark and Johnson doesn’t get in their way.
