Indiana Fever star Sophie Cunningham continues to thrive on and off the court. In the 2026 season, she's averaging 8.9 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game. She has also been a huge part of Indiana's recent success.
The Fever improved to 8-5 on the season with an 85-75 win over the Connecticut Sun on Saturday. In the game, Cunningham scored all 11 of her points in the final two minutes of play, helping Indiana pull away from Connecticut.
Off the court, Cunningham has secured numerous brand deals since joining the Fever, partnering with companies such as Arby's, European Wax Center and Quest Nutrition, among others. She has also started her own podcast and modeled for a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.
On Monday, Cunningham announced another partnership, revealing that she has teamed up with healthcare and prescription procurement company SHARx to serve as its brand ambassador.
In announcing her partnership with SHARx, Cunningham also touched on the topic of the tattoo on her arm.
For those unaware, the veteran WNBA guard has a tattoo of a wave with three peaks inked in black on her right forearm. Her sister, Lindsey Cunningham, and their mother, Paula Cunningham, also have the same tattoo.
According to Cunningham, the tattoo signifies unity even in tough times.
"My family all has the same tattoo, it means: Through deep waters, I'll be with you," Cunningham said in the video.
The tattoo and its meaning are connected to the Bible verse Isaiah 43:2, which says, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you."
It highlights Cunningham's close bond with her family and her devout Christian faith.
