
Las Vegas Aces forward Steph Talbot will represent Australia at the 2026 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup in Berlin.
The tournament runs Sept. 4-13 and will mark Talbot’s third World Cup appearance. She has been part of Australia’s national team program since 2015.
Talbot helped the Opals win silver at the 2018 World Cup and bronze in 2022. She also earned a spot on the 2022 World Cup All-Star Five.

The three-time Olympian won another bronze medal with Australia at the 2024 Games.
Talbot has started 25 of her 26 appearances for Las Vegas this season. She is averaging 3.5 points, three rebounds and 1.2 assists in 18.5 minutes per game.
Australia’s roster also includes WNBA players Isobel Borlase, Ezi Magbegor, Jade Melbourne, Alanna Smith and Sami Whitcomb. Toronto coach Sandy Brondello will lead the Opals.
The Aces host the Portland Fire at 7 p.m. PT Tuesday at Michelob ULTRA Arena. The Spot-Vegas 34 will televise the game.
