The Indiana Fever enter Saturday's showdown with the New York Liberty still trying to find consistency through nine games.
After a 4-5 start punctuated by both tight wins and puzzling losses, head coach Stephanie White addressed the status of her two key guards, second-year star Caitlin Clark and veteran playmaker Sophie Cunningham.
When speaking on the two guards during Thursday's media session, White said, "Yeah, I mean, we limited their reps, but really tried to get them up and down the floor a little bit, starting to try to get into game rhythm, game speed, game pace, timing a little bit off, rhythm a little bit off, but continuing to try to work them in as much as we could."

White's statement comes shortly after Clark and Cunningham were spotted participating in a portion of Thursday's practice.
Over her first four starts this season, Clark averaged 19.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and led the league with 9.3 assists per game.
However, Clark sustained a left quadriceps strain on May 24 that the team announced a few days later would sideline her for at least two weeks.
She now missed five straight games and only recently resumed limited on-court work.
Cunningham, meanwhile, hit a snag on May 30 against Connecticut, when she twisted her right ankle, missing Indiana's last three contests.
New York enters Saturday's matchup 9-0, but with Clark’s return on the horizon, the Fever may finally be back at full strength.
Clark and Cunningham haven't taken the court together in nearly three weeks, since the last time the Fever took on the Liberty on May 24, a game in which Indiana lost 90-88.
