'Thank You for Believing in me Baby': A'ja Wilson's Emotional Moment With NBA Star Boyfriend

The Las Vegas Aces are WNBA champions for the third time in four years, with A'ja Wilson leading their 4-0 sweep of the Phoenix Mercury in the Finals.

Las Vegas made easy work of Phoenix in Game 4, never trailing in the contest and leading by as many as 20 points en route to the 97-86 victory. Wilson — who shot the winner in Game 3 — recorded 31 points, nine rebounds, four assists, two steals and three blocks.

Kahleah Cooper had 30 points for Phoenix, while Alyssa Thomas tallied a 17-12-10 triple-double. Unfortunately, they simply didn't have enough weapons to counter Las Vegas' depth.

After the series win, Wilson was naturally emotional. After all, the Aces struggled early in the season and didn't look like the contenders they were once before. However, they turned things around in August and won 16 straight games to end the regular season.

Wilson was in tears following their championship victory. She was then seen hugging her parents, before sharing a moment with her NBA star boyfriend, Miami Heat big man Bam Adebayo.

What stood out from the moment was Wilson's message, telling Adebayo: "Thank you for believing in me, baby."

Adebayo, a three-time NBA All-Star, was supportive throughout and responded, "You got it done."

Bam Adebayo and A'ja Wilson's Relationship

As People explained, Adebayo and Wilson were first linked in 2024 when they were seen spending time together before the Paris Olympics.

Ever since then, they have been constantly seen supporting and referencing each other on social media.

During Wilson's jersey retirement with South Carolina last February, Adebayo attended the event and sat courtside. Similarly, back in September 2024, the Aces star was present when the Heat center received a key to Miami-Dade County in recognition of his contributions to Team USA's Olympic gold win in men's basketball.

The two have largely kept their relationship out of the spotlight, very rarely commenting on their relationship.
