'There Is No Love Lost': Paige Bueckers Reveals UConn Teammates Still Tight With Each Other During Their Professional Career Leap In WNBA

“… so there’s no love lost.”

Paige Bueckers was talking about her relationship with her former UConn teammates after moving to Dallas on her rookie year at the WNBA.

Her Huskies teammates Azzi Fudd and KK Arnold, have been a duo of Paige Bueckers’ biggest fans, showing up and showing love straight from the sidelines whenever Paige and the Dallas Wings have games.

CT Insider was able to catch Paige Bueckers for an interview where she opened up about the love she’s been getting from the Huskies. Her move to the WNBA has given her a chance to shine, but her light comes from a place of love with her old crew.

“It’s been great,” Paige Bueckers said. “KK and Azzi gave me a hard time about my smoke layup in the last game (Tuesday), so there’s no love lost. … I’ve just been in contact with all of them, staying in communication of how they’re doing, how I’m doing, and it’s always a great connection and something that will never be lost.”

While her career would take her miles and miles away from home, like Paige Bueckers said, there’s no love lost despite the distance and the change of scenery, both with where she is and where her career is going.

Despite Dallas’ 3-12 record, Paige Bueckers is averaging 18.2 points with 4.6 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game.

Azzi Fudd may have given a hint with her relationship with Paige Bueckers

A chance for romance? Azzi Fudd and Paige Bueckers have been the subject of the rumor mill, particularly because of how close the two have been as sisters fighting for the same team, guarding the same basket.

But one recent post caught fans with sharp eyes and with great attention to detail by surprise. Fudd is taking a quick mirror snap for the gram on her phone. The text on her phone’s casing reads: Paige Bueckers’ girlfriend.

With that, all the dots fall into place. How their closeness was on and off the court, how Paige Bueckers receives consistent and deep support from Fudd, and everything else in between. Fudd is almost a fixture on the sidelines whenever the Dallas Wings come on with their up-and-coming young guard.
