Phoenix Mercury coach Nate Tibbetts shared his thoughts postgame of his team recording a season-high 22 turnovers and conceding 28 points off of them, praising superstar Breanna Stewart, believing his team competed in the first half and playing strong defensively, reacting to Brittney Griner and Natasha Cloud setting records and more after the Mercury lost to the New York Liberty on Monday.

Stewart had 21 points to lead the No. 1 seeded Liberty to victory, showcasing her elite ability to score and defend.

Cloud passed Diana Taurasi for most assists by a Mercury player in a single season (198) and Griner became the third player in WNBA history to reach 800 blocks.
