Watch: Nate Tibbetts believes Mercury ‘are in a funk,’ talking about team leading WNBA in technical fouls
Michael Chow/The Republic / USA TODAY NETWORK

After falling 89-76 to the Minnesota Lynx on Wednesday, Phoenix Mercury coach Nate Tibbetts believed his team is struggling to find a rhythm or consistency, they severely need a 5-on-5 practice to work on things, giving the Lynx credit, turnovers still remaining a major issue and more.

The Mercury leads the league in technical fouls (30) this season, doubling over the next team, the Las Vegas Aces, with 15. Tibbetts received one early on and Sophie Cunningham got two in the fourth quarter and was ejected.

With the loss, Phoenix is now 16-16 on the season and just hanging on to the sixth seed, with the 15-16 Indiana Fever surging as of late.
