Wings Announce Paige Bueckers Update Before WNBA Playoffs

Paige Bueckers delivered another strong performance during Wednesday’s win over the Seattle Storm. The Dallas Wings star guard led the team back to winning ways after a loss two days earlier. The team announced an update on X about the second-year superstar ahead of the WNBA playoffs.

Bueckers finished with a team-high 25 points, five rebounds, and seven assists in their 103-91 victory over the Storm. It marked her 26th game this season with 20-plus points.

The Wings took to social media to announce Bueckers’ latest scoring milestone.

Arike Ogunbowale backed Bueckers by contributing 23 points, four rebounds, and six assists. Jessica Shepard produced a triple-double with 20 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists.

The Wings improved to 27-17 after Wednesday’s win. They secured the No. 7 seed heading into the playoffs after the Atlanta Dream defeated the eighth-seeded New York Liberty earlier in the evening.

Dallas will return to the playoffs for the first time in three years. Bueckers will remain a major factor in how far the Wings can go, as she is their primary scorer and playmaker. The 2025 Rookie of the Year has averaged 20.8 points, 4.1 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game.

Bueckers and Co. have strong momentum heading into the playoffs. They have won seven of their last eight games and have achieved 17 more victories this year than in 2025. Dallas has experienced a huge turnaround after finishing at the bottom of the standings last season with a 10-34 record.
