The Phoenix Mercury defeated the Dallas Wings 93-80 on Wednesday night. It was a big game for the Mercury, as they had five players finish in double digits, and were led by Satou Sabally, who had 20 points, nine rebounds and two assists. It was also a meaningful game for Sabally, as this was the first time she played her former team since being traded during the offseason.
The Mercury and Wings stayed neck-and-neck with each other in the first quarter, but from there, the Mercury won every quarter and was able to walk out with a comfortable victory. Things may have gotten out of hand at the end of the game, as Sabally and DiJonai Carrington got into a verbal interaction with each other.
At the end of the game, Carrington walked toward Sabally as the Mercury star waved her off. Carrington then walked up to the Mercury players, who were huddled together on the court. She said something to Sabally, and players from each team tried to get in the middle of them.

One player who tried to get in the middle of everything was Alyssa Thomas, who is Sabally's current teammate and Carrington's former teammate when they were on the Connecticut Sun last season.
Toward the end of the interaction, Carrington put her hand up toward the camera that was following her, and Paige Bueckers also got in front of the camera at one point. The way this game ended, people will be interested in seeing how their next matchup goes.
