The Indiana Fever are set to face the Atlanta Dream in the WNBA playoffs.

As both teams prepare for the WNBA playoffs, featuring some of the league's biggest stars, one player was highlighted for her recent success.

The Dream boast one of the best rosters in the league with Brittney Griner, Rhyne Howard and Allisha Gray. They also have Brionna Jones, who's emerged as a star for Atlanta.

On Friday, as the regular season came to a close, Howard was announced as the Week 14 Eastern Conference Player of the Week.

During the final week of the regular season, where the Atlanta Dream went 5-0, Howard posted 22.4 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game.

Rhyne Howard has now won the Eastern Conference Player of the Week on back-to-back occasions to close out the WNBA season.

In Week 14, A'ja Wilson won the Western Conference Player of the Week, joining Howard in the prestigious honor.

Throughout the 2025 season with the Atlanta Dream, Howard posted 17.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game.

Howard will now head into the WNBA playoffs with Brittney Griner and Allisha Gray by her side, looking to defeat the Indiana Fever on Sunday, in Game 1 of the first round series.

The Fever will be playing without several contributors who suffered season-ending injuries, including Caitlin Clark, Sophie Cunningham, Aari McDonald, Sydney Colson and Chloe Bibby.

The first round series will be a 1-1-1 matchup, where the Atlanta Dream are to host the first game.
