Dallas Wings rookie Paige Bueckers has emerged as the rising star of the WNBA, but missed a chance to square off with Caitlin Clark in the first meeting between between the Wings and Clark's Indiana Fever. We'll get another chance at that long-awaited meeting soon and the WNBA is going to be ready for it.

On Monday, the WNBA and the Wings announced that the Wings will be changing their venue for the upcoming August 1 meeting between the two teams in Dallas.

The team will be moving out of the 7,000-seat College Park Center in Arlington, which they share with the UT-Arlington college basketball team. They will instead be playing in the 20,000-seat American Airline Center, home to the Dallas Mavericks and the Dallas Stars. Tickets will go on sale this Friday and are expected to sell out.

"ENCORE The Dallas Wings will officially host the Indiana Fever for another A Night in Dallas at American Airlines Center on August 1 presented by @albertapp ! ️ Tickets go on sale to the public on Friday, July 11!"

The first meeting between the two teams was a high-octane, high-scoring thriller even without Caitlin Clark participating. The game was so well-received by fans that the next meeting is already being dubbed "The Sequel."

Clark still hasn't returned from the injury she suffered last month but it would be a surprise if she hasn't mended by August 1.

The sellout crowd expected for the event certainly comes from fans expecting that Clark will be playing.

In college, Caitlin Clark's Iowa Hawkeyes lost to Bueckers' UConn Huskies twice in the NCAA Tournament. Clark never won a national title despite reaching back-to-back title games while Bueckers wound up winning a title in her final college game.

It's entirely possible that Bueckers and Clark could wind up forming a rivalry on-par or even surpassing the one that Clark already has with Angel Reese.

But until we see both of them take to the hardwood and square off in the pros, we'll just have to ride the hype train.

Who do you have winning "The Sequel?"
