Caitlin Clark may have shot the ball poorly again on Sunday against Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings, but this did not prevent the reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year from helping lead the Indiana Fever to an impressive 102-83 blowout win at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
Clark put on a passing clinic by dishing out 13 assists as the 23-year-old showcased her elite playmaking skills. One of her best passes of the game came in the second quarter. After coming up with a block on the defensive end, Clark turned quarterback with a perfect full-court pass for Sophie Cunningham, who gladly obliged by finishing the wide-open lay-up.
Clark’s dime was so good that even WNBA legend Rebecca Lobo, who was providing commentary for the game for ESPN, was left in awe.
"Hands up in the air, gives Caitlin Clark the target," Lobo said. "Barely over the fingertips of Hines-Allen. Beautiful, beautiful pass. Catch, in stride, finish. Beautiful basketball."

It’s safe to say that the Hall of Famer was left impressed by Clark’s heads-up play, and Lobo made her feelings on the pass abundantly clear.
The former WNBA All-Star also drew the attention of fans during the game after she blatantly called out the referees for their lack of foul calls on Clark. Lobo did not appreciate how the game officials appeared to turn a blind eye as the former Iowa star was hacked during a drive to the basket.
As for the Fever, this win saw them improve to 11-10 on the season. They will want to build on their current two-game winning streak when they return to action on Tuesday in a road game against the 3-18 Connecticut Sun.
