The 2025 WNBA season will mark Caitlin Clark's second year in the league, taking another step in her professional career.
Last season with the Indiana Fever, Clark helped lead the organization to a 20-20 record, reaching the playoffs. While they were eliminated in the first round, losing to the Connecticut Sun, it was a successful season for the young team.
Clark leads a group of stars that includes Kelsey Mitchell, Aliyah Boston, and DeWanna Bonner.
She's already established herself as a superstar in the league and an MVP candidate heading into her second season.
Before she embarks on her second season in the league, WNBA legend Sue Bird spoke on a potential leap for Clark, mentioning that her experience makes her "dangerous."
"I always like to quote Michael Jordan in these moments. ‘The ceiling is the roof’ — she knows the league now, that’s dangerous," Bird said.

Caitlin Clark finished her rookie season with the Indiana Fever, posting 19.2 points, 5.7 rebounds and 8.4 assists per game.
The Rookie of the Year and WNBA All-Star starter led the league in average assists and led all rookie scoring.
At many times last season, she was considered in the upper echelon of guard play, alongside players like Sabrina Ionescu, Diana Taurasi and Chelsea Gray.
The Indiana Fever will begin the season with a matchup against Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky. The two will face off on Saturday at 3 p.m. ET.
Indiana will have back-to-back home games, facing the Atlanta Dream on Tuesday at 7 p.m. ET and will then travel to Atlanta to compete against the Dream on May 22.
