WNBA teams across the league continue to make changes within the roster in order to compete for a title later on this season.

As teams prepare for the postseason, one decided to make an addition just before facing the Indiana Fever, who will be playing without Caitlin Clark.

The Washington Mystics are set to face the Fever at 7:30 p.m. ET on Friday.

Ahead of their matchup against Indiana, the Mystics signed Madison Scott to a seven-day contract, bulking up their roster in the second half of the WNBA season, per Underdog WNBA.

Scott is playing in her rookie season in the WNBA, having previously played for the Dallas Wings alongside No. 1 overall pick Paige Bueckers.

She will now be playing for the Mystics, who have a young core, starring Sonia Citron.

Before her WNBA career, Scott played college basketball with the Ole Miss Rebels. During her final season, Scott posted 11.8 points, 5.1 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game.

The Indiana Fever have also made some changes ahead of their next matchup. Indiana signed Kyra Lambert as it awaits the return of Caitlin Clark, who has played just 13 games this season.

The Fever also need to fill the void of Aari McDonald and Sydney Colson, both of whom suffered season-ending injuries.

Washington heads into the game having lost eight of its last 11.
