The start of the WNBA season has quickly revealed the top title contenders.
While much of the craze at the beginning of the season surrounded Caitlin Clark heading into her second season with the Indiana Fever, one team has demanded attention.
The Minnesota Lynx are the only undefeated team in the Western Conference, currently sitting at 8-0 on the season. The New York Liberty are also undefeated on the season with a 7-0 record.
During the successful season for Minnesota, they made an abrupt roster move, releasing international product Marieme Badiane.
Badiane was playing in her first season with the Lynx, having played three games for Minnesota.
While she received playing time at a limited capacity, Badiane capped off her stint with the Lynx by scoring zero points in three games.

Before joining head coach Cheryl Reeve and the Minnesota Lynx for her first WNBA season, Badiane played for several overseas pro teams, including Fenerbahce, BLMA, ASVEL, Mondeville and Roche Vendee.
Last season with Fenerbahce, Badiane won the EuroLeague championship and SuperCup championship.
The Minnesota Lynx are led by MVP candidate Napheesa Collier, who's posted 25.1 points, 8.7 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game
Collier has cemented herself as one of the best players in the WNBA for the past several seasons. She's been with the Lynx since 2019 and continues to grow her game in nearly every statistical category.
The WNBA All-Star will look to lead the Minnesota Lynx to another victory, set to face the Dallas Wings on Sunday at 4 p.m. ET.
