The Connecticut Sun will again aim to end their losing streak Sunday night. The Sun, though, may be without one of their leading scorers.
Connecticut guard Marina Mabrey remains questionable because of a left knee injury she suffered in the team's last game Thursday versus the Dallas Wings. Mabrey exited the contest very late in the first half after tweaking her knee while guarding Wings rookie guard Paige Bueckers.
The Sun social media account listed her as questionable to return. Mabrey did play in the second half, but she is still on the team's injury report, officially listed as questionable.
Connecticut will face the Golden State Valkyries on the road at 8:30 pm ET on Sunday.
Mabrey played 29 minutes and registered six assists with three rebounds Thursday. But she also had just eight points, as the Sun lost to the Wings 86-83.
Connecticut has lost five straight. With the defeat to Dallas, the Sun dropped to last place in the WNBA standings with a 2-11 record.

While the Sun have struggled, Mabrey is experiencing one of her better statistical seasons. The guard will enter Sunday's game averaging 15.2 points, five rebounds and four assists per contest.
Mabrey is the team's second-leading scorer behind veteran center Tina Charles, who is averaging 16.6 points per game.
Mabrey is in her sixth WNBA season, including her first full campaign with Connecticut. The Los Angeles Sparks drafted her No. 19 overall in the second round of the 2019 Draft.
The guard has also played for the Wings and Chicago Sky.
