Seth Rollins injured his left shoulder while delivering a Coast to Coast Head Butt to Cody Rhodes during his match at the WWE Crown Jewel. On WWE Raw after the PLE, The Vision's Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed attacked him, ending their partnership in the process. In a fun show on 'Good Morning Football', the Visionary confirmed that he will be out of action for six months.
The former world champion was upset that the World Heavyweight Championship would now be managed by either Jey Uso or CM Punk. However, there is room for him to win it back when he returns to action after getting fit to wrestle again. Seth's absence has hampered WWE's Survivor Series War Games plans, and the direction for the match might take a totally different route.
Backlash has been the first PLE after WrestleMania for three consecutive years. It might remain so, as the PLE has been received well by the fans. Given that the three previous PLEs were a massive success in terms of business and reception, WWE is likely to retain it for the window after Mania.
If Seth is likely to be out of action for over six months, it will be the first PLE where he could return. WWE would not want to waste any time getting him back, as there will be a lot of unfinished business he has to address with The Vision, Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and others.
The WWE Raw after WrestleMania usually turns out to be one of the most eventful weekly episodes of the year. Due to the title changes and furthering the story of some wrestlers, the show witnesses some major segments, including some high-profile returns.
In 2025, Rusev returned to action on Raw, while in 2024, it was Sheamus. In 2023, it was Brock Lesnar, whose feud with Cody Rhodes started. Likewise, it might be good to get Seth back to action at Raw after Mania. There is a good chance of him either going after The Vision or potentially after the world title, which he never lost in the first place.
There is a good possibility of both the world title being on the line at Mania and the Vision members potentially being in contention to win it. The best way for Seth to wage war against Bron and Bronson would be to cost them the title. In the process, he will also insert himself into the world title picture.
A star as big as Seth deserves to return at WrestleMania. By the time the WrestleMania period approaches, the Visionary might be nearly fit to wrestle. Hence, it makes sense for him to return to the show of all shows and cost the Brons their matches. There could also be a case for him continuing his feud with CM Punk.
