One of WWE's premiere main event performers could be making his return at "SummerSlam 2025."
WWE has been planting the seeds for Roman Reigns' inevitable return. During Monday's episode of "Raw," Paul Heyman mocked the "OTC" for missing TV time in the aftermath of "WrestleMania 41." It was a clue that many fans picked up on, as the live crowd reacted to Heyman taking shots at his former "Tribal Chief."
WrestleVotes reports that Reigns is expected to be a part of the "SummerSlam" show. It was also mentioned that new nicknames such as "OTC1" and "The Tribal Chief One" are being considered for Reigns once he returns.
Reigns' most recent match took place at the conclusion of night one of "WrestleMania 41." He faced CM Punk and Seth Rollins in a triple threat battle. Going into the match, Heyman was in Punk's corner despite serving as Reigns' "Wiseman" due to a favor. Heyman ended up turning on Reigns and Punk to hand Rollins the victory.
Heyman, who is also now calling himself "The Oracle," added Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed to his new faction. While Reigns was taken out by Breakker during the April 21 episode of "Raw," he hasn't dealt with Reed since the 2024 WarGames match at "Survivor Series."
Many are wondering if Reigns will be forced to align with CM Punk in the fight against Heyman's stable. The "OTC" and "The Second City Saint" have been at odds, but there is a mutual goal to get revenge on Rollins and Heyman.
