AEW: All In is the company’s biggest show, but Adam Cole will not be able to wrestle. The news comes as a bit of a shock as it was announced less than two hours ahead of the main card of the event beginning. However, the TNT Championship is still going to be on the line during the event, so let’s take a deeper dive into what is known at this moment regarding Adam Cole.
Adam Cole is one of the more beloved wrestlers on the All Elite Wrestling roster and will not be able to defend the TNT Championship. In a live stream on X (previously Twitter), Tony Khan announced that Adam Cole has not been medically cleared to defend his TNT Championship against Kyle Fletcher. Instead, he would be vacating the championship, and the TNT Championship will be on the line in a four-way match between Kyle Fletcher, Daniel Garcia, Dustin Rhodes, and Sammy Guevara.
Cole initially won the championship at AEW Dynasty 2025 against Daniel Garcia in April and has defended the championship against Claudio Castagnoli and Josh Alexander. Cole wrestled on Thursday’s AEW Collision in a six-man tag team match as The Paragon (Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, & Roderick Strong) defeated The Don Callis Family (Kyle Fletcher, Rocky Romero, & Trent Beretta). It is unknown at this time what the injury is or how long Cole will be out of action.
AEW has done an interim champion in the past, but Tony Khan announced Cole vacated the championship, meaning that is out of the equation. It will be interesting to see who will walk out of All In with the TNT Championship and what this means for the company going forward.
