This week, AEW Collision will air on a special Thursday to avoid going head-to-head with WWE WrestleMania 42. However, given the run of Collisions, the big angles, title changes, and moments the red and yellow show offered in 2026, expect double the fallout.
Not just overspill from AEW Dynasty that cannot be contained to Wednesday. With a huge AEW Dynamite set featuring three title matches (read the results here on Wednesday night), there are likely going to be talking points and next steps that can’t wait a week.
With nothing announced for AEW Collision at the time of writing, let’s speculate. However, check back before Thursday night for the latest updates.

Expect the AEW World Tag Team champions, FTR, to gloat and brag and wax poetic about their greatness. The Living Legends overcame Cage and Cope, perhaps proving in their minds that they are the greatest tag team of all time. Having beaten in back-to-back PPV matches, their greatest generational rivals in The Young Bucks, and now, arguably, one of the greatest tag teams of all time in Cage and Cope, they’ll want to move on.
However, will Adam Copeland be accepted just “moving on”? Given how FTR, former friends, brutalised his wife, and the unrelenting nature of the Rated R Superstar, things can only escalate. Yet what’s in it for Christian Cage besides tag titles? Interestingly, on ROH, Nick Wayne has returned. There is still something to be settled between the former Father figure and the adopted son.
Or will FTR get challengers coming from another direction? After Stokely Hathaway, in an interview, claimed that he punked out Bobby Lashley, who allegedly confronted him for using a spear on Dynamite, could healed and ready The Hurt Syndicate come back for their title rematch?
With other new champions crowned at AEW Dynasty, the new AEW World Trios champions, The Conglomeration, will The Dogs be happy with a one-day title reign? Or will their way escalate further?

Thekla defeated Jamie Hayter, but she had to use the ropes for assistance. Are the Brawling Birds going to let things lie? Also, what about Hiraku Shida? Given the tension and conflict, it seems a question of when rather than if she is about to snap. And when she does so, who is going to feel the brunt of that kendo stick?
Last year’s AEW Dynasty marked the start of the Owen Hart Memorial Cup Tournament. The Tournament ended at AEW Double or Nothing, which this year will be in Queens, New York. After a short Canadian tour, surely, we will get clarification on the yearly highlight this week. Last year, the winners of the Owen went on to face their respective world champions at All In. Will AEW repeat the formula?
Last year, the event helped bring Hangman Adam Page back to being a babyface main character that fans never gave up on. Given Mercedes Moné has lost the majority of her belts but continued to sport the Owen belt in her collection, there’s a potential story/character thread to explore. With a strong roster of male talent, plus so many returning female wrestlers of late, an enticing set of brackets could be created. Or Thursday, maybe we get some qualifiers? If you are like me and enjoy your fantasy booking, you might already have in your mind your tournament and road to AEW All In.
