The fallout from Sunday’s Dynasty pay-per-view will be felt on tonight’s AEW Dynamite.

Swerve Strickland will go one-on-one with PAC of The Death Riders in a first-time matchup on tonight’s show. Strickland challenged Jon Moxley for the AEW World title at Dynasty, but was defeated after interference from the returning Young Bucks.

In the aftermath of the main event, The Opps brawled with The Death Riders, with Samoa Joe, Katsuyori Shibata, and Hook fighting Claudio Castagnoli, PAC, and Wheeler Yuta. As a result, Samoa Joe and Hook will face Castagnoli and Yuta in tag team action on tonight’s episode.

The Owen Hart Foundation women’s tournament also continues tonight with another first-time matchup, as Thunder Rosa and Kris Statlander go one-on-one with a spot in the semifinals at stake. Women’s World Champion Toni Storm will be on commentary for the Rosa vs. Statlander quarterfinal. The eventual tournament winner will challenge Storm at All In in July for the title.

AEW Dynamite comes on the air with Excalibur welcoming us alongside Tony Schiavone & Taz as the Road to Double or Nothing begins tonight. They throw it to the Death Riders backstage as Jon Moxley said this is the single greatest roster of pure talent ever assembled in AEW, so why can’t anyone get their act together when it counts? They come with their talent, yet roll back down the hill, not addressing the real problem, they don’t want it. The Death Riders will scorch the Earth with anyone who calls themselves a contender before they give an inch. The Young Bucks have returned, but Moxley doesn’t recognize them anymore, as they’ve stumbled upon a board and they don’t know what game it is. Moxley said he’s be careful if he was them before making any moves.
