It is Thursday and you know what that means and the ratings for AEW Dynamite are out. We have entered a new era for All Elite Wrestling. It has been dubbed the “Rated R Era.” AEW Full Gear has come and gone. The build towards World End is ongoing with the Continental Classic on AEW Dynamite and Collision. It was another excellent show. Let’s dive into the is week’s rating to see how the show did.
AEW Dynamite was live in Minneapolis, Minnesota. There were some great promo segments from the AEW World Champion MJF, along with Christian Cage and Adam Copeland. Not to mention the action fast and furious inside the ring as well. Continental Cup action resumed. Jon Moxley, Jay White, and Swerve Strickland continue to show why they are some of the best in the world. Not to mention their promos on the internet were some of the best this company has to offer.
The storyline with MJF and who is behind the Devils mask continues. Another great storyline indeed. So much speculation as to who it is. And MJF talked about Samoa Joe and their match at Worlds End. “Timeless” Toni Storm continues to be one of the best things on television going. And can we talk about how well Julia Hart has performed in the ring and how the fans love her as TBS Champion.
AEW is getting back to their roots whether it is popular or not, whether it makes money or not, they are going to do things their own way.
And look before people make a big deal yes, last week’s edition of AEW Dynamite beat Smackdown in both viewership and demo. Smackdown moved to FS1 for the night. Both have similar audiences. Dynamite last week had 845,000 viewers and did a .26 in the 18-49 demo while Smackdown had 789,000 viewers and did a .24 in the 18-49 demo.
The November 29th edition of AEW Dynamite week’s show was viewed by 858,000 people and did a .29 in the 18-49 demo.

The viewership and demo were up from the previous couple of weeks. AEW Dynamite is in a good place. The numbers are what the numbers are and they are in their zone. Hopefully, you see them hit the million mark again. That is a nice number to shoot for.
In addition, AEW Dynamite was 4th on cable amongst Sports Shows behind College Basketball and SportsCenter and they were ahead of the NHL on TNT.
It was also announced on the show that Sting’s last match at Revolution 2024 will be at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina.
