As has become a Friday tradition, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson dropped a new social media promo ahead of his appearance on tonight's SmackDown.

The Rock will be on SmackDown tonight for his first appearance since being slapped by Cody Rhodes last Friday. In an eight-minute promo this afternoon, The Rock responded to that slap. The Rock said he wasn't angry about it. He was waiting for Rhodes to man up and grow some balls.

The Rock then made fun of Rhodes for crying duringĀ his interview on this Monday's Raw . Rhodes said during the interview that, while he can't give the title to his father Dusty Rhodes, he's going to present the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship belt to his mother after he defeats Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40.

It's been a big week, though. A lot to celebrate. Ratings are up. Sellouts everywhere The Rock goes. Wrestling is cool again -- all because of The Rock. It's also been a big week because everyone is talking, last week, everyone is talking about the slap that was heard around the world. Finally, Cody Rhodes grew some balls. Finally, that little boy got some hair on his nuts and he slapped the sh*t out of The Rock. He slapped the sh*t out of me.

Well done, Cody Rhodes. The Rock has been waiting for you to man up. Giving him a challenge that's worthy of The Great One. That was a good slap, too. What did The Rock do? He didn't pretend like he was angry. He didn't get a bunch of goofs and jabronis trying to hold him back. No, no, no. The Rock took your slap like a man. As a matter of fact, The Rock started smiling. Because The Rock likes pain. But that's a whole other conversation.

And Cody Rhodes, The Rock couldn't wait -- the world couldn't wait -- to see how you were going to react and respond after that Friday slap. On Monday Night Raw, two days later, what were you gonna do? And you get on Monday Night Raw, you get in the middle of that ring, the world is watching. And here's what you did. Here's how you responded to the biggest moment of your career when you slapped The Rock. Take a look.

Are you f*cking kidding me? You start f*cking crying? You start crying? That's how you respond? No wonder all your fans are crybabies. Cody Crybabies.

The Rock said Mama Rhodes is going to get presented with a belt at WrestleMania, but it won't be the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Rock threatened that he's going to whip Rhodes with his weight belt until he's bloody and then give that belt to Rhodes' mother.

And that's how you end a story. And that is how, Cody Rhodes, your story is going to end at WrestleMania, boy. Crying in a pool of your own blood and this belt sitting in your momma's lap. And Mama Rhodes, don't worry, there's two things that you can do about it: Nothing and like it. Cody Rhodes, at WrestleMania, your story is going to end courtesy of Roman Reigns and courtesy of your nightmare: The Rock. The Final Boss. If ya' smell what The Rock is cooking.

Now Mama Rhodes, don't go crying too much now. See you at WrestleMania.

The Rock & Reigns vs. Rhodes & Seth Rollins is officially set to headline WrestleMania 40 night one on Saturday, April 6. Reigns vs. Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship will then main event night two on Sunday, April 7.

Tonight's SmackDown is taking place from the FedExForum in Memphis, Tennessee.
