The women’s Casino Battle Royal match was a bit of a clunky match, but with a guaranteed match against the AEW Women’s Champion on the line, Athena was able to secure her opportunity for the title. This match was very interesting and we had a few intriguing names pop up in the match. Let’s take a look at the match and what it means for Athena going forward winning at AEW: All In 2025.
The 2025 AEW: All In card features some of the more intriguing matches, and the Ring of Honor Women’s Champion continues to add to her resume. The “Forever ROH Champ” was able to win the automatic match against the AEW Women’s Champion at any point. The match itself was a little clunky as we saw people tap out who weren’t in the match, but overall, 12 women entered the match and saw the debut of Syuri and the return of Alex Windsor.
This was a fun match overall, but Athena has now shown the ability to add to her Ring of Honor Women’s Championship and potentially hold multiple championships. This was a big day for Ring of Honor talent as Dustin Rhodes also became the TNT Champion. Overall, Athena has showcased her skills on Ring of Honor television and now has the chance to be on AEW television more often as she is one of the top talents regardless of gender in the company.
Seeing a lot of women in the divison represented is a great indication of what the AEW roster can be and it will be intriguing to see how she looks heading into her AEW Women’s Championship match.
