After Bayley ended up losing to Lyra Valkyria at Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 18, she has been kept off television in what was widely speculated to be about her contract coming to an end and whether WWE would be able to come to terms on a new deal with her or not.
The prolonged absence has continued this speculation; however, WWE may have already provided the hints needed to let fans know Bayley isn’t going anywhere.
Despite not being physically on television, Lyra Valkyria has continued to mention Bayley, and if WWE was not going to be reaching a new deal with her this could’ve already provided the exit they needed to move on from her.
Instead, Bayley’s name has continued to be mentioned and remains a pivotal part of Lyra Valkyria‘s heel storyline.
With all the mentions of Bayley on TV as of late, it pretty much says that WWE believes it’s a lock she will re-sign with the company.

While no new deal has been reached yet, it is clear WWE still views her as an important part of their future and someone they can’t risk losing. Bayley is still important to the company as a main event wrestler and veteran leader. She is someone they can’t risk losing to a competitor company, and it is clear they should do whatever it takes to get the next contract done sooner rather than later.
