The WWE RAW After Wrestlemania is always filled with turns and twists and this year’s edition has lived up to the hype. In a Wrestlemania rematch, Lyra Valkyria and Becky Lynch faced off against Liv Morgan and Rachel Rodriguez for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships after winning the titles on Wrestlemania 41 Night 2 on Sunday. Morgan and Rodriguez would win the titles back to become four-time tag team champions, but the story began after the match.

After getting pinned to lose the championships, Lyra Valkyria was down in the ring and Becky Lynch would attack her, cementing a heel turn. This was something that was heavily speculated online but actually came along. It will be intriguing to see how things play out.

Becky Lynch Turns Heel on Lyra Valkyria

Becky Lynch returned to a WWE ring for the first time in almost a year at Wrestlemania 41 Night 2. Her last match prior to her return was on the May 27, 2024 edition of WWE RAW as she lost the WWE Women’s World Championship to Liv Morgan in a steel cage match. Now, with the sudden attack on Bayley at Wrestlemania 41 Night 1, who was supposed to team with Valkyria at Wrestlemania 41, there should be no doubt who has attacked her.

Seeing “The Man” take a heel role in the WWE RAW’s women division could be a bit of a refreshing take, but could be a bit of time before we see Bayley return to the ring as Michael Cole said she suffered “a dislocated shoulder and labrum tear“. However, multiple reports stated that this is just a kayfabe injury and the plan for Bayley to be out of Wrestlemania was made weeks ago. It will be interesting to see how this plays out or if this was Lynch officially writing Bayley off WWE TV.
