This Monday, WWE Superstar Becky Lynch will be defending her WWE Women’s Intercontinental Title on WWE RAW on Netflix. Lynch’s opponent is Natalya, and Becky is demanding that she get the new version of Natalya that has been going around the indie wrestling circuit.
The Queen of Harts created a more aggressive and serious persona, Nattie Neidhart. This vicious character was first developed in early 2025 for the GCW event, Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport. While sharing a clip of Natalya beating her from behind, Lynch wrote:
“Bring this version or Nattie. I’m sick of Natalya. Ps. I never forget.”
Natalya did reply to her, writing:
“You don’t get to dictate who the F*ck I am.”
This week’s episode of RAW will take place at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. The upcoming match will mark Natalya's first singles title match on the main roster since the July 3, 2023, episode of RAW, when then-champion Rhea Ripley successfully defended the Women’s Title against her. Lynch has been the Women's Intercontinental Champion since defeating Lyra Valkyrie at the Money in the Bank PLE in June.
Nattie’s indie gimmick is styled like a UFC fighter. She appears with an entourage while wearing a gum shield that says “Legend.” As previously noted, she created this persona for Bloodsport. Her debut was on April 17 at Bloodsport XIII, and she defeated Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling star Miyu Yamashita. Earlier this month, Nattie had her second-ever Bloodsport match, and it was a win over Masha Slamovich.
Back in May, Nattie brought her gimmick to the NWA, where at the Crockett Cup 2025, she was NWA Women’s Champion Kenzie Page’s opponent. Sadly, Nattie was unsuccessful in capturing the prestigious title. In June, the Nattie Neidhart persona came to WWE Hall of Famer Booker T’s promotion, Reality of Wrestling, where she defeated indie wrestler Promise Braxton.
Most recently, fans got to see the gimmick at Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide events. Over the weekend at TripleMania XXXIII, Nattie was in a triple threat match for the AAA Reina de Reinas title. Flammer successfully defended the title against her and Faby Apache.
Overall, it’s a gimmick that makes a perfect opponent for a brash and cunning Becky Lynch. This recent feud started back on the August 4 episode of RAW because of Lynch’s behavior towards WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella. On RAW, a week later, Lynch defended her title against Natalya’s protégé, Maxxine Dupri. After the match, while Natalya was checking on Dupri, Lynch attacked her, intensifying the feud between the two. It’s safe to say that this persona has breathed new life into Natalya’s nearly 20-year career and needs to come to WWE sooner rather than later.
