Bianca Belair Update After Being Out Since Wrestlemania 41

The WWE Universe has been without one of the biggest stars on the roster since Wrestlemania 41 as Bianca Belair has not been on television since losing at ‘the Show of the Immortals’. There was some news regarding her status and when the company is hoping for her to return to WWE television and be a major factor in the SmackDown brand. She walked out of the show with a few broken fingers and the report gives us some clarity on when ‘The EST’ should be returning to TV. Let’s take a look at the report and discuss what this means going forward.

Bianca Belair Returning Relatively Soon?

It has been a while since we have seen Bianca Belair on WWE television and there has been an update on her status as we head towards the Evolution 2 Premium Live Event in a month. According to PWI Elite, WWE officials are hopeful that Bianca Belair will be able to return to the ring before Summerslam, which is scheduled for Sat. Aug. 2 and Sun. Aug. 3, if not earlier.

Belair has been largely off WWE television since suffering broken fingers during the triple threat match at Wrestlemania 41 for the Women’s World Championship in a losing effort against Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley. Her focus has been on healing and getting back to the ring and has remained in good spirits throughout it all.

This means that it is unlikely at this time she will appear on the all-women’s Premium Live Event but she certainly has a story to continue when Belair is able to get back to the ring in Mrs. Money in the Bank Naomi. The two have not had much interaction since it was revealed Naomi was the one to attack Belair’s tag team partner Jade Cargill. Due to Belair’s injury, WWE’s creative has been altered. However, there is a chance that Naomi attempts to cash in the briefcase and that we see Bianca Belair return to cause Naomi to lose it, becoming the first woman to unsuccessfully cash in the briefcase.

Belair did appear on the May 30 episode of SmackDown and confirmed she was not 100% healed from her injury before being interrupted by Naomi, continuing the story between the two women. When would you want to see Bianca Belair return to WWE and how would you do it?
