Former WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman, AKA Adam Scherr, has suffered a broken wrist. The injury comes at a horrible time, as”The Monster Among Monsters” had been busy with other business ventures including a new TV show.

Scherr had quit wrestling following his release by WWE. On social media, he shared about his hand fracture with a sarcastic comment, saying YAY ME!! and an angry emoji. The blow will now force him to go through the process of recovery before any possible return to the ring.

New Business Ventures Held in Holding

Before the injury, Scherr had said that he would take a hiatus from wrestling to concentrate on a new alcohol business. Such a recent defeat will make those plans even more distant, because he is more concerned with recovery.

Even after his release, the former star has not kept silent concerning WWE. He has also been quite critical of his previous employer, labeling the decision to release him as a stupid business practice and saying that the company does not respect its fans.

Braun Strowman TV Show on the Horizon

Although Scherr is currently suffering from injury, his timetable is not totally dead. This autumn, he will serve as the host of his new program, Everything on the Menu with Braun Strowman, on the USA Network.

The food-based show will bring out a lighter, more entertaining aspect of the giant, as this will provide the fans with something different besides the wrestling ring. Scherr left WWE officially in May 2025, when his contract lapsed in July.

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio claimed the main factors that led WWE to fire him were his high salary and a history of leg injuries.

Strowman Speaks of his future

Scherr has since left WWE, but in a video message, he thought about life after wrestling. He indicated that an in-ring comeback was not impossible, as he was not actively competing. But he still has what it takes to get back in the ring and be on a roll whenever the time comes.

He also expressed that this new chapter is about rebuilding bonds with loved ones and discovering passions beyond wrestling. Rather than spending his life on the road, Strowman said he wanted organic experiences, genuine passions, and time with family and friends.

Braun Strowman is not active in WWE. He is currently focusing on other projects and spending time with his loved ones. With new business opportunities, a huge television project, and the prospect of returning to the ring someday, somewhere down the line. It appears the former wrestler, “The Monster Among Men”, is bent on creating a prosperous post-WWE career.
