John Cena's retirement tour, and his 25-year WWE career, comes to an end this Saturday. This is it. The Franchise Player will wrestle Gunther at Saturday Night's Main Event this weekend, and win or lose, that will be his final match. Cena has touched and influenced more careers than anyone will ever be able to count in that time, as demonstrated by a tribute video shared by WWE.

The Entire WWE Roster Says Thank You And Goodbye To John Cena

The touching montage has been posted on WWE's YouTube channel and highlighted by Cena on social media, although since then, the package has been shared far and wide. Clearly filmed over an extended period, it combines footage from throughout Cena's career with current WWE Superstars and employees sharing both spoken and written messages for The Never Seen 17.

The Temper Trap's Sweet Disposition provides the soundtrack, and if you can name a main roster star, even a notable backstage employee, there's a very real chance that they're in this video. Particularly those still with the company who have an in-ring past with Cena, such as AJ Styles, The Miz, and R-Truth, all of whom appear alongside moments they shared with the retiring star in WWE.

Some of the bigger stars still in WWE today, with whom Cena has engaged in epic battle,s are saved for the end of the package. Roman Reigns , for example, is the final wrestler to make an appearance. The OTC is holding up a handwritten sign that says "Thank You, John" and pulls off a salute.

CM Punk And Brock Lesnar Close Things Out

CM Punk appears right before Reigns, The Second City Saint hitting the You Can't See Me taunt to the camera in between two iconic moments from their shared careers. Perhaps most surprising of all is the Brock Lesnar cameo sandwiched between Punk and Reigns. The Beast holds up a sign that reads "I Can See You" before aggressively throwing it to the ground and doesn't acknowledge the camera otherwise. A nice way to include Lesnar without him having to break character.

As many Superstars as WWE managed to round up for the video, there are some notable omissions. Gunther isn't in there, presumably because it would be a little odd for the heel who might retire Cena this weekend to be involved in a project like this. Nikki Bella, to whom Cena was previously engaged, also doesn't appear to have been involved. It's also a shame that Randy Orton and Kevin Owens, both of whom share a ton of history with Cena, are out injured, otherwise they'd have almost certainly have had messages to share.
