Brock Lesnar is reportedly working with Gunther at WrestleMania 42.
The Beast Incarnate returned to WWE earlier this year at SummerSlam, attacking John Cena. He’s since worked WrestlePalooza and Survivor Series 2025.
Lesnar is a big name for WWE, and now that he’s back, fans can expect him to work the company’s major premium live events, such as Royal Rumble and WrestleMania.
According to Self Made Pro, Brock Lesnar is currently scheduled to face Gunther at WrestleMania next year in Las Vegas (h/t Ringside News). His original opponent for the event was Bron Breakker, but it seems like WWE is keeping him for a title match against CM Punk next year.
“GUNTHER is definitely working Brock at WrestleMania. It was originally going to be Bron Breakker versus Brock, but now that Bron Breakker is set to get a title match there, Brock is facing GUNTHER.”
Gunther recently worked Saturday Night’s Main Event, where he defeated John Cena and retired him. This earned WWE massive backlash from fans, which blindsided them.
Brock Lesnar vs Gunther has been a dream match for many years now. Both wrestlers were rumored to face each other at WrestleMania 40, but these plans fell through after the Janel Grant lawsuit was filed.
