Chad Gable appeared to suffer an injury during Monday night’s episode of WWE Raw in Fresno, California.
Gable teamed with Dragon Lee against Ethan Page and Big Cass, but the match took an unexpected turn when Gable was hurt at ringside. The referee immediately checked on him before returning to the ring, where the match continued without Gable.
It then came to a noticeably quick conclusion.
The injury occurred when Page delivered a standard suplex to Gable on the floor. Gable landed awkwardly and immediately appeared to have the wind knocked out of him.

As Gable remained down, Cass could be seen communicating with Lee and Page as the three appeared to adjust the finish on the fly. Page ultimately pinned Lee after hitting the Ego’s Edge to end the match.
As soon as the bell rang, referees and members of WWE’s medical staff rushed to ringside to attend to Gable. Raw commentators Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett also acknowledged Gable’s injury on the broadcast.

There was no immediate update regarding the nature or severity of the injury.
It’s an especially unfortunate development for Gable, who returned from injury at the beginning of 2026 and has gone on to have arguably the best year of his WWE career.
Hopefully, the situation looked worse than it ultimately proves to be. Best wishes to Gable as we await an update on his condition.
