Chelsea Green stunned the world and Giulia on SmackDown when she scored a quick victory to reclaim the WWE Women's United States Championship and become a two-time champion. The win came through a rollup and means she's now a double champion as she is also one half of the current AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champions with Ethan Page.
The 34-year-old has been a fan favourite, albeit as a heel, ever since returning to WWE in January 2023, and her Karen gimmick has worked a treat. She became the inaugural Women's United States Champion in late 2024 and has now reclaimed the title, which means she's holding gold in both WWE and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide.
Chelsea's real-life partner Matt Cardona (formerly known as Zack Ryder in WWE) penned a heartfelt message praising his wife for "never quitting" and "doing the extra work." His former colleague at WWE, Jonathan Coachman, responded with a glowing verdict of his own:
"Matt she is everything right in wrestling. These companies need to let those that have the creative ability to be entertaining as hell to just run with it instead of holding it against them. I have been on record Chelsea is the most entertaining talent in the WWE male OR female."

Chelsea showed perseverance after her release back in April 2021, working her way back into WWE and creating a character that immediately grasped fans' attention. Multitalented might be the way to put it as she's shown her adaptability, shining as the leader of The Green Regime, partnering with NXT North American Champion Ethan Page and continuing her moaning and groaning backstage exchanges with general managers, first Adam Pearce and now Nick Aldis.
Watching WWE's Unreal docuseries, one pitch that stood out in the writers' room was for Chelsea to win the Royal Rumble match in hilarious fashion but this was scrapped and Triple H's creative team went with Charlotte Flair instead. But seeing her win the big one at WrestleMania is surely on the cards one day because it would make for such a fantastic moment just like The IIconics tag team title victory at Mania 35.
Chelsea deserves a world title run one day even if her character is presented as a comedic act and she's shown she can put on stellar matches while also finding any way to win. We could see a character transformation once she reaches the main event scene, such as a darker version of her Karen gimmick emerging.
For now, she'll be embarking on her second reign as Women's United States Champion and there are many feuds for WWE to explore on SmackDown should she move past Giulia. One of those could be the Zelina, whose mysterious new character could make for compelling television.
