  • CM Punk, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins' triple threat WrestleMania match is pretty much official.
  • The three of them brawled as SmackDown went off the air.
  • However, they each found the time to point to the WrestleMania sign, indicating their shared intentions.

Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and Seth Rollins have all been getting in each other's way as they've been trying to book spots in title matches at WrestleMania. With less than a month to go until WWE's biggest show of the year, the closing segment of tonight's SmackDown appears to have confirmed they'll have to settle for beating up each other on The Grandest Stage Of Them All.

Reigns, Punk, And Rollins Brawl As SmackDown Goes Off The Air

Reigns was the first to the ring during the final segment of a SmackDown that aired at an earlier time than usual due to it emanating from Bologna, Italy. With his wise man Paul Heyman at his side, Reigns challenged any of his enemies to come and confront him, and it took mere seconds for Seth Rollins' music to hit.

Despite the fancy blue outfit he wore to the ring, Rollins was eager to "add another chapter" to his long and storied history with Reigns, but the ring needed one more person before the chaos could ensue - CM Punk. A man who has built a career on his ability to talk, Punk didn't have much to say. He implied Heyman had brought Reigns to him on a silver platter and then pounced on The Tribal Chief as he tried to piece together what was going on.

Everyone Pointed To The WrestleMania Sign, That Makes It Official

Rollins seemed unsure of what to do at first as Punk and Reigns brawled, but as soon as Punk had the upper hand, The Architect pitched in, dragging Punk off of Reigns. Eventually, Punk found himself on the outside of the ring as Reigns and Rollins continued to brawl between the ropes. It was then that he seized the opportunity to point to the WrestleMania sign, the first official indicator that he and the two men in the ring will throw down in a triple threat on the weekend of April 19.

When Rollins was able to take a quick breather, he did the same thing, and then eventually, Reigns pointed to the sign, SmackDown coming to an end shortly after. No official confirmation from WWE since SmackDown GM Nick Aldis was one of many at rignside trying to pull the three Superstars apart, but with all three of them pointing at the WrestleMania sign during the segment, the match is now all but confirmed.

Reigns vs. Rollins vs. Punk wasn't the only match added to the WrestleMania card tonight. We also now know Kevin Owens and Randy Orton will clash in what will be an emotionally fueled match at WrestleMania. Unlike Reigns, Rollins, and Punk's match, that one was officially confirmed.
