Complete Upcoming WWE PLE Schedule: Backlash, Clash In Paris, SummerSlam & More

After having a massively successful Backlash 2024 in France, WWE is hoping that this year's show will come close to that level of excitement in St.Louis.

While there has yet to be a main event announced for the show, the PLE being in Randy Orton's hometown has fans already buzzing that Orton could be challenging for the WWE Championship at the event. A match with either John Cena or Cody Rhodes would be a very interesting story.

Saturday Night's Main Event May 2025

City: Tampa Bay, Florida

WWE's Saturday Night's Main Event shows will continue later in 2025 with another card in May. This one will take place in Tampa Bay, Florida and while not much is known about the show yet, we'll likely know more soon.

WWE Money In The Bank 2025

City: Los Angeles, California

Money In The Bank has risen to become one of WWE's most important PLEs every year. With a championship opportunity secured for the winners of the titular ladder matches, this event gets fans invested like few others.

WWE has announced that this year's event will take place in Los Angeles, California at the Intuit Dome. It's been fantasy booked by fans that CM Punk will face John Cena 14 years later from their classic at Money In The Bank 2011, but it remains to be seen if WWE goes in that direction.

WWE Worlds Collide 2025

City: Los Angeles, California

As part of their purchase of Mexican promotion AAA, WWE announced another Worlds Collide event between their NXT brand and AAA.

The event will take place the same weekend as Money In The Bank earlier in the day at the KIA Forum.

WWE SummerSlam 2025

Location: Metlife Stadium, East Rutherford, New Jersey

SummerSlam has always been one of WWE's biggest shows of the year, but it's set to get even bigger in 2025. For the first time ever, the event will be taking place over the course of two nights just like its spring sister, WrestleMania. The last time the event took place in New Jersey was in 2007, where John Cena defeated Randy Orton to retain his WWE Championship in the main event.

WWE Clash In Paris

City: Paris, France

On January 29th, 2025, WWE announced that the company will be returning to France for another PLE after the massively successful show in Lyon back in May 2024. This time, WWE will be hosting the first ever Clash In Paris which of course, is being held in Paris.

Little else is known about the event so far, but it is worth noting that this event will take place on a Sunday. Most WWE main roster PLEs in the past few years that only happen on a single night have been taking place on Saturdays.

Unnamed Australia October PLEs

Location: Perth, Australia

While few details are known yet, WWE announced during WrestleMania 41 weekend that they are returning to Perth, Australia for a PLE. Not much is known about the show yet, but WWE did confirm that John Cena will appear at the show.

WWE Survivor Series 2025

City: San Diego, California

As is tradition, Survivor Series 2025 has been confirmed as WWE's November PLE. The tradition goes back to the 1980s and this will mark the 38th edition of the event. What's notable so far is that WWE doesn't seem to have slapped on the War Games branding that they've used since 2022.

WWE Royal Rumble 2026

City: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

In what is sure to be the most controversial WWE Royal Rumble of all time, the 2026 version of the event still has some specifics to be announced, but we do know that the event will happen in January. Most importantly however, this Royal Rumble will be the first ever one to take place over the course of two nights. This makes the Royal Rumble join WrestleMania and SummerSlam as WWE's only two night PLE live events.

WWE President Nick Khan had previously promised that WWE's "Big 5" PLE events (WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Survivor Series, Royal Rumble & Money In The Bank) would take place only in North America, but this decision marks a major departure.

WWE WrestleMania 42

City: New Orleans, Louisiana

As announced by The Rock in the leadup to WrestleMania 41 on Smackdown, WWE WrestleMania 42 will take place in New Orleans. This will be the third-ever WrestleMania in New Orleans after 30 and 34 also took place in the city.

Not much is known about the event yet but more will be known as we get closer to the event.
