On the November 7, 2025 episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown, a notable title change occurred. Chelsea Green beat Giulia to become the new Women’s United States Champion. It was her second reign with the title. She held it previously for 132 days late last year and earlier this year. She celebrated winning the title on the November 28 WWE SmackDown. Things were going well until Jade Cargill interrupted.

The current WWE Champion hit Jaded on her, shocking everyone in the arena. She’s going on a quest to become a double champion. However, she had to compete in a match first to see if she got a title opportunity. Would she prove to Green that she is a worthy opponent?

Cargill Takes Down Alba Fyre in Great Match

Cargill wasn’t going to face Green, as it wasn’t a title match. Instead, she was going to face Fyre. The latter, alongside Piper Niven, has been by Green’s side for many months now.

They’ve competed well together and have genuinely become good friends. Fyre saw what happened to Green last week and wasn’t going to stand for any disrespect. Cargill was happy to oblige, as a win would get her one step closer to getting a Women’s United States Championship match. The match started in a big way.

Green was on the apron, not only holding her US title, but also her AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship that she shares with Ethan Page. That was surely going to be an incentive for Cargill to win. But it turned out to be a distraction, as Fyre started strong.

Her and Green, as the distraction, were actually in control for the first part of the match. They were beating up Cargill so much that it looked like she had no chance of winning. But as usual, outside interference played a major part in the finish. Giulia and Kiana James arrived to confront Green.

They obviously haven’t forgotten about her major win last month. The two women started to beat her up and drag her away from the ring. Fyre was obviously distracted, and that proved to be costly to her. From that point forward, Cargill was in control. She hit her with a spinebuster, then kicked her in the chest.

After that, she hit Jaded and applied the pin. The match was over, and Cargill had a come-from-behind victory. It’s clear that Green has a lot of issues with many wrestlers in the SmackDown women’s division. Cargill probably isn’t finished with her, so it’ll be interesting to see where this rivalry goes from here.
